CPR certification is important for healthcare professionals and students who need to respond to cardiac, breathing, and other medical emergencies. The right certification depends on your role and the type of patient care you provide. At our Perkins Road location, BLS, ACLS, and PALS are available for different healthcare roles and training needs.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS is a good fit for healthcare professionals and students who need core CPR and emergency response skills. Nurses, nursing students, EMTs, medical students, and other healthcare providers commonly pursue BLS certification.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS): ACLS is intended for healthcare professionals who are involved in the care of adults experiencing serious cardiac emergencies. Physicians, nurses, paramedics, EMTs, and other providers involved in advanced patient care often need ACLS certification.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS): PALS is designed for healthcare professionals who work with infants and children. Pediatric physicians, nurses, EMTs, paramedics, and other healthcare providers may need PALS certification for their clinical responsibilities.
