Actively prepares you for real life situations.Posted on Tracy Stoner-H2023-03-16Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. In my opinion, this class does a great job of not only the training of what to do, but helps build confidence with hands-on repetition and acknowledgement to help people overcome the hesitation people may have in such a scenario.Posted on Michelle Mattison2023-01-26Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. BLS renewals always creek up so fast, and suddenly it's a scramble to find somewhere to complete before your certification lapse. In my search for nearby AHA approved courses, I selected CPR LifeLine by proximity and positive reviews. I liked that I could schedule a private skills course that fits my ever changing schedule, allows me time to brush up on my out of practice form, and that I could schedule in within a few days to complete the skills portion of the hybrid course. Bria was such a fantastic and skilled instructor! She really knows her stuff, cares about the quality of the training, gives rationales behind the protocols, and both reads and listens to her students to find out where they could benefit from extra focus and answers all questions thoroughly. This was the best BLS training experience by far, and I feel way more confident with my skills and response as a result. From here on out I will exclusively use CPR LifeLine for my certification/recertification needs. I'm so happy to have found this wonderful second generation, family owned business that is affordable, accommodating, professional, and also just a few minutes from home.Posted on Katie Matten2022-08-24Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our social services agency sends our staff and volunteers here for training. After attending one of the sessions on my own, I'm so thankful that we've partnered with this organization. Our instructor Dwon was phenomenal. The way he taught the differences between respiratory arrest and cardiac arrest changed my perspective, and this is coming from someone who used to be a lifeguard and first aid/cpr instructor myself! First Aid and CPR are such essential skills for being a supportive community member, I recommend everyone take the opportunity to learn these skills and keep them up to date. You very well could save a life!Posted on Jennifer Paolini2021-10-23Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This CPR class was the most fun CPR I’ve ever done, and I’ve done quite a few. The mannequins have lights to indicate how well you’re performing chest compressions, they have practice AEDs, and even practice EPI pens which I’ve never had before in a CPR class. The instructor was also high energy which is super helpful when you have to sit through so many videos. The class was also one of the more affordable options in the Portland area!Posted on amanda le2021-07-27Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Funny and friendly staff. Was able to use techniques learned in class on a real life situation! Baby was choking on a piece of watermelon that broke off, parents were blind sweeping inside infants mouth. I took over and gave him some back slaps and it came out immediately. Without the training this situation could have ended badly since EMS would have taken longer than 10 minutes since we were on government island !Posted on Randy and Kathy Emert2021-03-16Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Dwon teaches his class with enthusiasm, knowledge, and humor while maintaining a professional setting and excellent learning environment. The class runs like a well oiled machine and is never boring. The class is taught in person with clear COVID guidelines that are followed. CPR Lifeline is a leader in training CPR and has a wide range of training dates/times to fit almost any schedule.
