CPR Lifeline is an American Heart Association (AHA) Training Cite providing fully AHA certified Heartsaver First Aid, AED, and CPR classes.
The Heartsaver class is intended for people with little to no formal medical training that are seeking certification to meet job, regulatory, or other requirements. Individuals or professions typically needing this type of certification are often teachers, construction workers, office personnel, and church or social groups. This course gives you the confidence and know how to ACT in a stressful and chaotic emergency situation to deliver lifesaving First Aid or CPR to your friends, family, or coworkers.
HeartCode is the online component of the American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS blended learning programs designed to prepare students for hands-on practice and skills testing. The system uses an adaptive, personalized algorithm that guides each learner along the most efficient path to mastering the material.
Learners progress through a continuously adjusting pathway shaped by their own performance and their self-reported confidence levels in response to probing questions. Course material is delivered through self-directed modules, interactive questions, and Cognitive Assessment Activities (CAAs).
After completing the online portion, students demonstrate their skills using a HeartCode-compatible manikin, Voice Assisted Manikin (VAM), that provides real-time audio and visual feedback. To earn an official American Heart Association (AHA) BLS, ACLS, or PALS Provider eCard, which is valid for two years, students must successfully complete both the online course and the hands-on skills session.
